PRINTING PROCESS
361 Printing & Embroidery specializes in printing on all types of apparel utilizing the latest techniques and inks. We print everything from single and multi-color graphics. Using water based ink for a soft feel or standard plastisol ink for a solid look to make a BOLD statement!
We print with water-base, plastisol, discharge inks, metallics and puff ink. If you need a specific color, we can do a PMS Pantone match any color.
PLASTISOL INK
This our most commonly used printing process and screen print the shirts using one ink color per screen.
DISCHARGE INK
If you’re wanting the feel of the print on the shirt to feel like the shirt itself this process is for you. Discharge describes a reaction that occurs during the curing (drying) process that takes out the current color of the shirt, and dyes the shirt fibers with the colors of your design. There is no ink that remains on the shirt. After a wash you will have a soft hand print. Best results are by using a 100% ringspun cotton shirt. 50/50 shirt blends have worked great also.
WATER BASED INK
This process uses an ink with water as the base. Compared to plastisol, water-base is thinner and lighter when printed on the shirt. This would be a great option if you’re wanting a soft hand vintage style print. 100% eco-friendly.
